of the state where tampa and orlando are and the miami metro area. .. we see college graduate group that obama lost by about 11 points in 2008. facing the most polls he's physically about even. i think that makes it very difficult for romney to put together a coalition that can take the state. colorado has been fairly close so again obama mabey looks like a fairy or four-point lead on average read a lot of demographic change. you can see the minority eligible voters have gone up by three percentage points and working-class voters in 2008 have gone down by three percentage points. again it doesn't appear that romney is able to turn the demographics tie in his favor. he's not doing much better among the white working-class voters according to the polls i've seen. he's made some progress on the outside margin that obama got 14 points in 2008 among the college graduate voters but he's not making nearly enough voters to take the state and if you break it down geographically the denver metro area is about half the vote in the state but that looks very similar in the polling data as it did in 2008. f

illegal in a lot of states for racial intermarriage. when barack obama's parents got married in kenya, i'm sorry, i mean -- if such a cheap joke and i apologize for that but it does remind me, you know, everybody knows mitt romney is having a rough patch as presidential candidate, but all right, all right. but a sentence i have not heard uttered anywhere is, if only donald trump had been the nominee. [laughter] because as you recall he sort of build his campaign around the idea that barack obama was born in kenya, or somewhere other than the united states. but that campaign could not take off exactly. mitt romney is therefore better or worse. and in all seriousness, when barack obama's parents got married in 1960, it wasn't in kenya. it was in hawaii. they got married in hawaii. there were people in prison in this country for racial intermarriage. that's no joke. it was illegal in 20 states in 1960, and it gives you an idea of how much the country has changed in a good way. but right after richard nixon became president, for vacancies appeared on the sprinkler. you never know how that's

she was a serious contender for price president pro when she endorsed obama that also moved up her stock. she was one of the last three or four people obama was considering. there were things against her. she is not an exciting speaker. it was not a bill clinton's speech. very measured. levying off of the teleprompter. saw lead information off the cuff she is different. she is savaged with the press and i actually brought up clip of jonge to work -- jon stewart on "the daily show" lampooning the speech she gave in response to the president bush "state of the union." it was not well done. jon stewart had a great time. from the communication perspective she is not that inspirational. and that is a lot of what was written she will not bring a lot. she did not have foreign policy experience. she said that made the difference with joe biden was born policy and she agreed it was essential. but now she is a cabinet secretary and knows where that will take her? >> the third is senator made the castle on. >> and was four several reasons. the first woman elected to the senate in her own righ

was running so he did not have the energy of richard nixon running in 1960 or obama running in 2008. >> and mrs. eisenhower, lott has been written about your parents relationship with the eisenhower's. how would you describe it? >> well i think that one of the things i enjoy doing when i was working on the project of eisenhower's retirement years was to look at that relationship and to think about it more and i'm amazed that eisenhower and nixon got along as well as they did because when you think about it, you have two presidents rumbling around together. a president is going to be someone who is very driven. he has an agenda. he has a vision. he knows where he is going so you have dwight eisenhower and then you have richard nixon who in 39 becomes a vice president who already is showing signs that he is on his way so the fact that they got along so well, i mean as well as they get i would say, think is a testament to several things but i think first of all eisenhower made the vice presidency significant. he sent my parents to 53 nations around the world ambassador's. they were in
